vegetables temperature ranges

so if wondering about things happening in the garden today between tmin°C & tmax°C...
some plants could be growing yet would like cooler temp, some other plants could be growing well, or maybe some other could be dormant... etc.

also if wondering about a specific plant being stunted or other weird state, it could be useful to sort if its maybe temperature related, or nutrients, or some other things...

<previous .current:vegstemps.doc >next

Enter temperatures then return - or click arrows to increase/decrease limits.

Then next some patience, a vegetables list with symbols is returned.

Symbols represents times in the plant life, as germination, growth, blooming, etc...
These events have some chances of happening within the requested temperature range.
Background color indicates chances, no symbol means no data.

limitations

results aren't exclusive and plants could do other thing, anyway:
-there are much other aspects than temperature to growing plants.
-there are plans to add other options, maybe someday...
-while uptnow most plants files are having germination data,
other aspect are only sometimes having data.
-it's much easier finding info about cool & cold temperatures than to find info about heat.
in this app dataset, with most cool temperature limits, data is good, often verified.
while with the heat temperatures limits, data is often untested, not guaranteed, sometimes only extrapolated or a gamble.

sources

I started collecting info about plants with seedpacks I bought.
germination data was mostly found with seedpacks infos.

since, I also used other sources as:
-my garden observations
-blogs
-gardening websites
-sometimes pro farmers/growers websites

less often, I also looked:
-open sources software projects data -few, rare-
-sometimes -yet rare- research papers

I'm trying finding info with local continent origin. I'm in europe.

Weather data sources: The Norwegian Meteorological Institute
